Acquired through trade with Wichita of the American Association for a player to be named later on 4/22/11.

Signed with Joliet of the Northern League following his release from the Marlins organization in spring training…Had no record in 10 innings over 7 relief appearances with Joliet…Traded to the Wichita Wingnuts of the American Association for a player to be named on 6/13/10…Went 3-4 with a 3.51 ERA in 13 starts and one relief appearance with the Wingnuts.

Played at three different levels of the Marlins organization (rookie ball, low-A, high-A)…Made his pro debut with the Marlins in the Gulf Coast League on 6/23/09…After taking a loss in three of his first four appearances, allowed just one earned run in his final 19 innings in the GCL…Made one relief appearance for Jupiter in the Florida State League on 8/16/09, allowing no runs in 2.0 innings before returning to the GCL…Called up to Greensboro in the South Atlantic League on Sept. 1…Made one relief appearance with the Grasshoppers, throwing a scoreless inning…Posted an overall ERA of 2.33 in 16 appearances between the three leagues, striking out 25 batters in 27 innings of work.
