A great day by Steve RaburnJr. wasn't enough to carry the Hawaii Stars (22-24) to a win on Friday, as the Hawaii Stars fell to the Maui Na Koa Ikaika (28-24) 3-1 at Wong Stadium.

RaburnJr. handled the Maui Na Koa Ikaika's lineup with ease, racking up nine strikeouts. RaburnJr. allowed one earned run on three hits and no walks over seven innings.

The Maui Na Koa Ikaika would not relinquish the lead as the Hawaii Stars were unable to weather a three-run ninth inning deficit.

The Hawaii Stars scored one run in the ninth on an RBI double by Keoni Manago. Despite their efforts, the Hawaii Stars couldn't get over the hump.

Danny Sandoval got on base two times in the game for the Maui Na Koa Ikaika. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He homered in the first inning.

Josh Larson improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Maui Na Koa Ikaika. He struck out three, walked none and surrendered three hits.

RaburnJr. couldn't get it done on the mound for the Hawaii Stars, taking a loss.
