After seven lead changes in Thursday's game at Wong Stadium, the Hawaii Stars (20-19) finally pulled out a 5-4 win over the San Rafael Pacifics (25-14).
Anthony Lopez was hot from the plate for the Hawaii Stars. Lopez went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the third innings and singled in the eighth inning.
Bryan Herrera recorded his third win of the year for the Hawaii Stars. He allowed four runs over eight innings. Herrera struck out seven, walked three and gave up 10 hits.
Matthew Durkin was charged with his fifth loss of the year. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out five, and allowed two runs.
