A walk-off from Arnoldo Ponce brought home the winning run for the Hawaii Stars (10-11) in a 3-2 victory over the Maui Na Koa Ikaika in 14 innings at Wong Stadium on Friday.

Ponce led the Hawaii Stars' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the fourth and tenth innings.

Anthony Lopez was solid at the plate for the Hawaii Stars. Lopez went 4-7 and scored one run. He singled in the third, fifth, and tenth innings and doubled in the fourteenth inning.

Dallas Mahan handled the Maui Na Koa Ikaika (11-10)'s lineup with ease, racking up nine strikeouts. Mahan allowed one earned run on six hits and one walk over seven innings.

Cortney Arruda recorded his first win of the year for the Hawaii Stars. He allowed one run over three innings. He struck out six, walked two and surrendered two hits.

Kalaika Kahoohalahala (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
