Tuesday was a great day for Ronnie Loeffler, as Loeffler tossed seven scoreless innings to carry the Hawaii Stars (6-2) to a 3-0 victory over the Sonoma County Grapes (3-5) at Wong Stadium.

Jose Angel Sanchez helped the Hawaii Stars pull ahead for the duration in the sixth inning. Matt Hibbert reached on an error to start the sixth. He then went from first to second on a groundout by Arnoldo Ponce. Finally, Angel Sanchez came to the plate with the game scoreless in the sixth inning and singled, plating Hibbert.
