The San Rafael Pacifics (29-19) used a four-run explosion in the eighth inning to get past the Maui Na Koa Ikaika (25-23) 10-4 on Thursday at Iron Maehara Stadium.

Johnny Woodard racked up three RBIs on three hits for the San Rafael Pacifics. He doubled in the third inning, homered in the seventh inning, and singled in the eighth innings.

The San Rafael Pacifics relied on Tyler Pearson to eat up innings en route to the win. Pearson allowed one earned run, seven hits and one walk while striking out six over eight innings of work.

Alan Rick racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Maui Na Koa Ikaika. He homered in the ninth inning.

Matt Walker was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just 6 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
