A wild pitch, bringing home Waylen Sing Chow gave the Maui Na Koa Ikaika (23-21) the lead in the seventh inning, and the Maui Na Koa Ikaika hung on to beat the San Rafael Pacifics (27-17) 2-1 on Wednesday.

The Maui Na Koa Ikaika were led by Sing Chow's hitting. Sing Chow went 3-5 and scored one run. He singled in the third, fifth, and seventh innings.

Jessie Smith looked sharp on the mound. The San Rafael Pacifics managed just two hits off of the the Maui Na Koa Ikaika's pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked one and struck out five during his seven innings of work.

Jesse Garcia was effective even in defeat, mowing down five the Maui Na Koa Ikaika batters and allowing zero runs.

Matthew Stabelfeld (2-1) took the loss for the San Rafael Pacifics. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
