The Hawaii Stars (1-1) had a tough outing on Saturday, as the Maui Na Koa Ikaika (1-1) dominated in a 10-2 win at Iron Maehara Stadium.

The Maui Na Koa Ikaika scored four runs in the fifth on a fielder's choice, an RBI double by Logan Kanamu, and an RBI double by Kalaika Kahoohalahala.

It was a good day at the plate for the Maui Na Koa Ikaika's Kahoohalahala. Kahoohalahala went 3-5, drove in one and scored two runs.

Eri Yoshida picked up the win for the Maui Na Koa Ikaika. Yoshida allowed two earned runs, four hits and one walk while striking out one over 7 2/3 innings of work.

Ryan Screnar ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed nine runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked three and struck out two.
