The Maui Na Koa Ikaika (35-27) jumped out to an early lead on the San Rafael Pacifics (31-25) and captured a 13-4 victory on Wednesday at Albert Park.

The game was decided quickly as the Maui Na Koa Ikaika exerted their will early with 12 runs in the first three innings.

A double by Nick Valdez, , a single by AJ Alexander, a single by Keith Kandell, , an error, and a single by Jose M Sanchez during the second inning supplied the early offense for the Maui Na Koa Ikaika.

Kandell racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Maui Na Koa Ikaika.

The San Rafael Pacifics' lineup had no answer for Eri Yoshida. The San Rafael Pacifics managed just one hit off of the the Maui Na Koa Ikaika's pitcher, who allowed two earned runs, walked three and struck out two during his five innings of work.

The San Rafael Pacifics were led by Will Wright's hitting. Wright went 2-4 and scored two runs. He tripled in the second inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Steve Detwiler ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed nine runs in two innings, walked two and struck out one.
