The Sonoma County Grapes (16-27) trailed by one in the ninth, but the Sonoma County Grapes recovered thanks to a key error in the eleventh inning from Brandon Gregorich to pull out a 5-4 win in 11 innings over the San Rafael Pacifics (29-20) at Albert Park on Monday.
With the score tied at four in the eleventh inning, Gregorich came to the plate and reached on an error, scoring Colin Bryan.
Gregorich paced the Sonoma County Grapes at the plate. Gregorich went 2-6 and drove in one. He singled in the first and ninth innings.
Bunyu Maeda racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Sonoma County Grapes. He homered in the sixth inning and singled in the third and tenth innings.
Jeffrey Lyons looked sharp on the mound. Lyons held the San Rafael Pacifics hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.
Matthew Stabelfeld (2-2) took the loss for the San Rafael Pacifics. He lasted just two innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed one run.
