Darrick Hale clubbed two home runs to carry the San Rafael Pacifics (23-12) to an 8-4 win over the Hawaii Stars (18-17) at Albert Park.

The game was back-and-forth heading into the fifth, with three lead changes.

Jensen Torres racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Hawaii Stars. He homered in the fifth inning.

Tyler Pearson improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the San Rafael Pacifics. He allowed two runs over five innings. Pearson struck out three, walked none and gave up seven hits.

Steve RaburnJr. was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked four and struck out two.

The San Rafael Pacifics were sparked by Hale and Zack Pace, who teamed up for five hits and six RBIs.
