The Sonoma County Grapes (8-14) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 4-3 to the San Rafael Pacifics (14-8) on Friday.

The San Rafael Pacifics took the lead in the eighth inning on an RBI double by Matthew Alton.

Maikel Jova racked up two RBIs on one hit for the San Rafael Pacifics. He homered in the fifth inning.

Matthew Durkin baffled the Sonoma County Grapes, striking out 10 batters. Durkin allowed three earned runs on six hits and two walks over seven innings.

Julian Arballo recorded his second win of the year for the San Rafael Pacifics. He struck out four, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Dustin Crenshaw (2-2) took the loss for the Sonoma County Grapes. He lasted just seven innings, walked three, struck out seven, and allowed four runs.
