Maikel Jova went 2-4 and hit a home run, helping the San Rafael Pacifics (8-6) to a 5-2 victory over the Hawaii Stars (8-6) on Tuesday at Albert Park.

Jake Rasner struck out seven, paving the way for a the San Rafael Pacifics win. Rasner allowed two earned runs, five hits and no walks over six innings.

Roman Martinez looked sharp on the mound. Martinez gave up just two hits, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his two innings of work.

Bryan Herrera (1-1) took the loss for the Hawaii Stars. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
