Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Friday as the south shore brewers (4-4) outscored the IGA SOFTBALL (7-2) 10-8 in seven innings.
The teams totaled 38 hits in the game.

The IGA SOFTBALL scored on a fielder's choice and a three-run single by Brandon Goldeman in the sixth inning and an RBI triple by Ryan Shaffer and a two-run single by Shaffer in the seventh inning. Despite their efforts, the IGA SOFTBALL couldn't finish the comeback.
Mark Garfalo racked up two RBIs on two hits for the south shore brewers. He singled in the fourth inning and tripled in the sixth inning.
The south shore brewers couldn't slow down Shaffer, who paced the IGA SOFTBALL with six hits.
