The Grand Prairie hang on against the Sioux City, 3-2

The Sioux City (5-7) weren't able to come back from the big hole they dug themselves into against the Grand Prairie (7-5), and the Sioux City lost 3-2 to the Grand Prairie after falling behind by three runs in the third inning.

The Sioux City scored on an RBI single by Brian Bistagne in the fifth inning and an RBI single by Yusuke Inoguchi in the seventh inning. Despite their efforts, the Sioux City couldn't finish the comeback.

It was a good day at the plate for the Grand Prairie's Keanon Simon. Simon went 2-4 and scored two runs. He singled in the first and third innings.

The Grand Prairie relied on Nick DeBarr to eat up innings en route to the win. DeBarr allowed one earned run, six hits and one walk while striking out five over seven innings of work.

Despite the loss, the Sioux City's Alain Quijano dominated the Grand Prairie's batters, giving up three runs and striking out five.

Quijano couldn't get it done on the hill for the Sioux City, taking a loss.
