The San Francisco Seagulls (16-11) and the California Glory (17-10) both had scoring chances on Saturday, but it was the San Francisco Seagulls that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 2-1 win at Fairmont Field.

The San Francisco Seagulls held off the California Glory, as the California Glory were unable to overcome a two-run fifth inning deficit.

The California Glory scored one run in the sixth on an RBI single by Kyle Eggers. Still, the California Glory couldn't draw even.

Cody Silveria got a hit in each of his two at bats. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the fourth inning.

Kyle Slinger looked sharp on the mound. The California Glory managed just three hits off of Slinger, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out four during his five innings of work.

William Lacker (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked nine, struck out six, and allowed two runs.
