The Gateway Grizzlies' offense erupts for 11 runs in blowout victory over the London Rippers

The Gateway Grizzlies (4-5) continued to pile up the runs on Sunday, scoring four runs in the last three innings, en route to an easy 11-1 win over the London Rippers (2-7) at Labatt Park, London Ontario.

An RBI single by Sam Mahoney and a three-run home run by Richie Jimenez Jr. helped the Gateway Grizzlies score four runs in the second. The Gateway Grizzlies had four hits in the inning.

Chris McClendon racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Gateway Grizzlies. He doubled in the fifth inning and homered in the ninth inning.

Jonathan Gonzalez picked up the win for the Gateway Grizzlies. Gonzalez allowed one earned run, three hits and three walks while striking out five over seven innings of work.

Mark Samuelson got on base three times in the game for the London Rippers. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the second inning and singled in the ninth inning.

Justin Mazur couldn't get it done on the hill for the London Rippers, taking a loss. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed five runs.

The London Rippers' lone run of the ballgame came in the second inning on a solo home run by Samuelson.
