The Quebec (4-2) rolled over the Newark (5-3) 8-2 on Saturday at Bears _ Eagles Riverfront Stadi after a five-run rally in the third inning.

Patrick DAoust got on base three times in the game for the Quebec . He singled in the second inning and doubled in the fourth inning.

Guillaume Leduc brought the heat against the Newark during his outing. Leduc held the Newark hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out one.

Despite the loss, the Newark 's Kyle Morrison dominated the Quebec 's batters, giving up zero runs and striking out six.

Bryan Rembisz recorded his first win of the year for the Quebec . He allowed two runs over five innings. Rembisz struck out three, walked two and gave up four hits.

Alex Smith (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed eight runs in 2 1/3 innings, walked four and struck out one.
