Patton's gives the San Angelo Colts walk-off win over the McAllen Thunder, 5-4

A walk-off from Cory Patton brought home the winning run for the San Angelo Colts (2-0) in a 5-4 victory over the McAllen Thunder (0-2) on Thursday.

Patton racked up two RBIs on one hit for the San Angelo Colts. He singled in the sixth inning.

Jason Crosland racked up two RBIs on two hits for the San Angelo Colts. He singled in the second inning and homered in the fourth inning.

Logan Williamson handled the McAllen Thunder's lineup with ease, racking up six strikeouts. Williamson allowed one earned run on three hits and three walks over five innings.

Nick Mahin paced the McAllen Thunder at the plate. Mahin went 3-4 and drove in one. He doubled in the sixth inning and singled in the fourth and eighth innings.

Erik Draxton improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the San Angelo Colts. He struck out one, walked one and surrendered no hits.

Kurt Houck was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed two runs.

The game was scoreless until the San Angelo Colts broke the ice with two runs in the fourth. The San Angelo Colts scored runs on a two-run home run by Crosland.

The San Angelo Colts pushed one run across in each of the sixth, eighth and ninth. In the sixth, the San Angelo Colts scored on an RBI single by Patton, bringing home Daryl Jones.
