The Fort Worth Cats (27-20) built an early edge on Friday, but the Abilene Prairie Dogs (19-28) roared back to steal a 7-2 victory at LaGrave Field.
While the Fort Worth Cats led until the fourth inning, the Abilene Prairie Dogs worked their way back and took the lead on a two-run single by Eddie Browne.
Browne racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Abilene Prairie Dogs. He singled in the third, fourth, and sixth innings.
Woods Fines got the win, running his season record to 3-5. He allowed two runs over five innings. Fines struck out four, walked three and gave up six hits.
Steve Barnes (4-3) took the loss for the Fort Worth Cats. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
