Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Thursday as the No Hustle (9-13) outscored the Easton Fection (10-16) 10-9 in seven innings.
The two teams combined for 29 hits in the game.
The No Hustle held off the Easton Fection, as the Easton Fection were unable to overcome a seven-run sixth inning deficit.
The Easton Fection scored six runs in the sixth on a double by Matt Copeland, a sacrifice fly by Mark Mahoney, three singles, and 2s. Despite their efforts, the Easton Fection couldn't get over the hump.
Michael Sganga racked up three RBIs on four hits for the No Hustle. He singled in the second and third innings and doubled in the first and fifth innings.
Copeland did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Easton Fection, reaching base three times. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the sixth inning.
Dominick Sganga recorded his fourth win for the No Hustle even though he allowed nine runs over seven innings. He struck out three, walked six and surrendered 13 hits.
Derek Gremaux couldn't get it done on the bump for the Easton Fection, taking a loss. He allowed 10 runs in seven innings, walked two and struck out none.
