Aaron Tullo hopes every outing could go as well as Sunday, as Tullo pitched seven shutout innings to carry the Edinburg Roadrunners (59-36) to a 3-0 victory over the Rio Grande Valley Whitewings at Edinburg Baseball Stadium.
It was a good day at the plate for the Edinburg Roadrunners' Wilmer Pino. Pino went 3-4 and scored one run. He singled in the first and third innings and doubled in the fifth inning.
Clint Bowker ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just seven innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
