McAllen Thunder vs Edinburg Roadrunners: 7-10

The Edinburg Roadrunners' Molina comes through in the clutch, upends the McAllen Thunder, 10-7

Felix Molina brought home the winning run to give the Edinburg Roadrunners (53-33) the lead in the sixth inning, as the Edinburg Roadrunners hung on to beat the McAllen Thunder (30-56) 10-7 on Friday.

Wilmer Pino singled to start the sixth. He then went from first to second on a stolen base. Finally, Molina came to the plate with the score tied at seven, and hit a sacrifice fly, plating Pino.

Molina was hot from the plate for the Edinburg Roadrunners. Molina went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the fifth inning.

Pino had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the first and third innings and singled in the sixth innings.

Yasser Gomez had a hot bat for the McAllen Thunder. Gomez went 3-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the first and third innings and doubled in the fifth inning.

Miguel Martinez got his eleventh win for the Edinburg Roadrunners despite allowing seven runs over seven innings. Martinez struck out two, walked two and gave up 10 hits.

Sean McGrath (0-1) took the loss for the McAllen Thunder. He lasted just zero innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed three runs.

The Edinburg Roadrunners' Molina, Osiel Flores and Pino combined for seven hits and two RBIs.
