A walk-off single from Cristobal Santana brought home the winning run for the Edinburg Roadrunners (37-22) in a 4-3 victory over the Fort Worth Cats (33-25) at Edinburg Stadium on Wednesday.

Santana got on base two times in the game for the Edinburg Roadrunners. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the ninth inning.

Carlos Hereaud boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 2-2 day at the plate to pace the Edinburg Roadrunners. He singled in the first and ninth innings.

Osvaldo Rodriguez handled the Fort Worth Cats' lineup with ease, racking up seven strikeouts. Rodriguez allowed no earned runs on four hits and one walk over six innings.

Brandon Jones paced the Fort Worth Cats at the plate. Jones went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the seventh inning.

Paul Koss recorded his third win of the year for the Edinburg Roadrunners. He allowed one run over two innings. He struck out five, walked none and surrendered two hits.

TJ Bozeman (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
