The Edinburg Roadrunners (25-14) outlasted the McAllen Thunder (12-27) on Monday after five lead changes, squeaking out a 6-4 win at Edinburg Stadium.

Vincent Blue racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Edinburg Roadrunners. He singled in the third and sixth innings.

Craig Hertler was solid at the plate for the McAllen Thunder. Hertler went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the fourth inning.

Rusty Jones recorded his third win of the year for the Edinburg Roadrunners. Jones struck out none, walked one and gave up one hit.

Frank James was charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked five and struck out two.
