Coleman Stephens held the Edinburg Roadrunners (8-8) scoreless for six innings to boost the Rio Grande Valley Whitewings (9-6) to a 3-0 victory.

Stephens struck out five and allowed four walks and three hits.

Bryan Marquez got a hit in each of his three at bats. He singled in the second, fourth, and seventh innings.

Dave Dineli couldn't get it done on the hill for the Edinburg Roadrunners, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked five, struck out two, and allowed one run.

The Rio Grande Valley Whitewings were sparked by Rudy Yan and Marquez, who teamed up for four hits and two RBIs.
