The Fort Worth Cats (49-41) came out firing, but couldn't hang on to the lead, ending up on the losing side of a 6-4 ballgame against the San Angelo Colts (48-42) on Wednesday at Foster Field.

A two-run single by Danny Gonzalez gave the San Angelo Colts the lead in the eighth inning.

Jamar Walton got on base three times in the game for the San Angelo Colts. He doubled in the second inning.

Blake Nation was effective even in defeat, mowing down six the San Angelo Colts batters and allowing three runs.

Brian Henschel got the win, running his season record to 7-8. He allowed four runs over eight innings. He struck out five, walked none and surrendered eight hits.
