The San Angelo Colts (24-26) took the last of seven lead changes in a back-and-forth affair against the Fort Worth Cats (28-21), securing a 8-6 victory on Monday at Foster Field.

Jason Crosland had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the second and third innings and singled in the fifth and seventh innings.

CJ Beatty did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Fort Worth Cats, reaching base four times. He singled in the third inning.

Michael Hacker got the win, running his season record to 2-2. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Mace Thurman was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out two, and allowed two runs.

The San Angelo Colts' J.J. Sherrill, Crosland and Landon Camp combined for eight hits and five RBIs.
