The McAllen Thunder (17-32) and the San Angelo Colts (22-26) passed the lead back and forth five times on Saturday at Foster Field, but in the end the McAllen Thunder pulled out a 5-2 win over the San Angelo Colts.

Nelson Teilon racked up five RBIs on three hits for the McAllen Thunder. He singled in the fourth innings, doubled in the fifth inning, and homered in the ninth inning.

Yunier Colon got the win for the McAllen Thunder. He pitched 1 2/3 shutout innings. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Erik Draxton (1-1) took the loss for the San Angelo Colts. He lasted just one inning, walked two, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
