Ryan Hutson drove in the winning run to give the San Angelo Colts (24-27) the lead in the seventh inning, as the San Angelo Colts hung on to beat the Rio Grande Valley Whitewings (30-22) 4-1 on Sunday.

Daryl Jones to start the seventh. He then went from first to second on a single by Jamar Walton. Finally, Hutson came to the plate with the score tied at one in the seventh inning, and singled, scoring Jones.

Ronnie Gaines racked up two RBIs on one hit for the San Angelo Colts. He homered in the eighth inning.

The San Angelo Colts relied on Logan Williamson to eat up innings en route to the win. Williamson pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, seven hits and three walks while striking out two.

Henry Garcia couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Rio Grande Valley Whitewings, taking a loss. He lasted just nine innings, walked one, struck out seven, and allowed four runs.
