A seven-run explosion in the fifth inning led the San Angelo Colts (20-17) to a 10-4 win over the Abilene Prairie Dogs (15-22) at Foster Field on Monday.

Daryl Jones led the San Angelo Colts' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the fifth and seventh innings.

Brian Henschel recorded his third win of the year for the San Angelo Colts. He allowed four runs over seven innings. Henschel struck out none, walked two and gave up 11 hits.

Brian Smith couldn't get it done on the hill for the Abilene Prairie Dogs, taking a loss. He allowed 10 runs in four innings, walked five and struck out two.
