The San Angelo Colts (43-41) didn't stand a chance on Sunday, as the Edinburg Roadrunners (51-33) captured a blowout 8-2 win at Foster Field.

The Edinburg Roadrunners scored three runs in the seventh on a single by Wilmer Pino and a two-run double by Eric Bloom.

Derek Perren led the Edinburg Roadrunners' offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the seventh and ninth innings.

Miguel Martinez struck out seven hitters en route to the the Edinburg Roadrunners win. Martinez allowed one earned run, three hits and four walks over seven innings.

Ronnie Gaines reached base three times in the game for the San Angelo Colts. He also drove in one runner. He doubled in the ninth inning.

Logan Williamson (9-3) took the loss for the San Angelo Colts. He lasted just six innings, walked four, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
