The Abilene Prairie Dogs (6-10) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 6-1 to the San Angelo Colts (9-7) on Saturday.
While the Abilene Prairie Dogs led until the fifth inning, the San Angelo Colts worked their way back and took the lead on an RBI double by Jason Diaz.
The San Angelo Colts were led by Josh Banda's hitting. Banda went 3-4 and scored one run. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the third and sixth innings.
The San Angelo Colts relied on Logan Williamson to eat up innings en route to the win. Williamson allowed one earned run, five hits and three walks while striking out five over 6 2/3 innings of work.
Adam Rowe (2-1) took the loss for the Abilene Prairie Dogs. He lasted just six innings, walked none, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
