The Fort Worth Cats (11-4) beat the San Angelo Colts (8-7) 6-3 in seven innings on Friday at LaGrave Field behind Chuck Caufield, who went 2-3.

Blake Nation had an impressive outing against the San Angelo Colts' lineup. The San Angelo Colts managed just three hits off of Nation, who allowed one earned run, walked three and struck out four during his five innings of work.

Adam De La Garza boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 2-2 day at the plate to pace the San Angelo Colts. He singled in the first and sixth innings.

Brian Henschel couldn't get it done on the hill for the San Angelo Colts, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked one and struck out four.
