The Nothin But Mammals (2-13) weren't able to overcome the big hole they dug themselves into against the Biscuits (4-5), and the Nothin But Mammals lost 4-2 to the Biscuits after falling behind by four runs in the fifth inning.

The Nothin But Mammals scored on an RBI single by Dan Seitz in the fifth inning and an RBI single by Todd Dayton in the seventh inning. Despite their efforts, the Nothin But Mammals couldn't finish the comeback.

Pat Kotowitz had a hot bat for the Biscuits. Kotowitz went 2-3 and scored one run. He tripled in the second inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Dayton went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for the Nothin But Mammals.

Phil Merget improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Biscuits. He allowed two runs over seven innings. Merget struck out one, walked one and gave up 10 hits.

Bill Greene (2-9) took the loss for the Nothin But Mammals. He lasted just seven innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
