A great effort by Jessie Basso carried the Animals AwayHitmen Fasano (15-8) to a 21-19 win over the Rusty Dawgs (4-19) on Monday at Raynor Park one.

Basso hit two home runs for the Animals AwayHitmen Fasano. Basso went 5-6 in the game with five RBIs and five runs scored. Basso homered in the fourth and ninth innings.

A walk-off two-run home run by Basso gave the Animals AwayHitmen Fasano the win.

Each team blasted the other's pitching, and there were 40 total runs and 55 hits during the game.

Frank Shocka recorded his first win for the Animals AwayHitmen Fasano even though he allowed 19 runs over nine innings. He struck out none, walked one and surrendered 29 hits.

Matt R ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed 21 runs in eight innings, walked three and struck out none.

The Animals AwayHitmen Fasano pounded the Rusty Dawgs pitching, as seven hitters combined for 23 hits, 21 RBIs and 19 runs scored.
