Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Friday as the BALLS DEEP (16-8) outscored the Donkey Punch All Stars (15-9) 15-13 in seven innings.

The teams totaled 48 hits in the game.

The game was back-and-forth heading into the fourth, with five lead changes.

The BALLS DEEP staved off the Donkey Punch All Stars as the Donkey Punch All Stars were unable to match the BALLS DEEP down the stretch.

The Donkey Punch All Stars scored six runs in the seventh on a sacrifice fly by Greg Folden and five singles. Still, the Donkey Punch All Stars couldn't catch the BALLS DEEP.

Rob put himself in scoring position with three extra-base hits for the BALLS DEEP. He tripled in the first inning, doubled in the third inning, singled in the fourth inning, and homered in the sixth inning.

Even though Jamie Taylor allowed 13 runs over seven innings he still recorded the victory, his seventh of the season. Taylor struck out one, walked three and gave up 22 hits.

Dave Lopez ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed 15 runs in six innings, walked none and struck out none.

The BALLS DEEP easily handled the Donkey Punch All Stars pitching as six hitters combined for 18 hits, 14 RBIs and 12 runs scored.
