The BALLS DEEP offense too much for the Donkey Punch All Stars in 9-2 rout

The BALLS DEEP (15-8) refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against the Donkey Punch All Stars (15-8), recording a 9-2 victory on Thursday at Sylvan Field.

Five runs in the first three innings allowed the BALLS DEEP to put the game away early.

An RBI single by JC Hood, a fielder's choice, and a fielder's choice during the first inning and an RBI single by Jim Schtager in the second inning supplied the early offense for the BALLS DEEP.

John Morge got a hit in each of his three at bats. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the second and sixth innings.

Jamie Taylor improved to 6-4 on the year by picking up the win for the BALLS DEEP. He allowed two runs over seven innings. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered nine hits.

Dave Lopez couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Donkey Punch All Stars, taking a loss. He allowed nine runs in seven innings, walked two and struck out none.

The BALLS DEEP hammered the Donkey Punch All Stars pitching as six hitters had a field day, combining for 14 hits, seven RBIs and eight runs scored.
