Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Sunday as the F-14 (14-8) outscored the swingers (forlano (8-14) 19-10 in seven innings.

The teams totaled 52 hits in the game.

The F-14 blew out the swingers (forlano thanks to 32 hits, including zero extra base hits. The F-14 scored six runs in the fifth on a single by Dennis PopickJr, , a single by Dave Thaw, a single by J.T. Thames, a single by Jovon Sapp, and a single by Rob Vasquez.

Ray Sonenberg paced the F-14 at the plate. Sonenberg went 3-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the third and fifth innings.

The F-14 couldn't slow down John Sohngen, who paced the swingers (forlano with five hits. He doubled in the fourth and fifth innings and singled in the first, second, and sixth innings.

Even though Lenny Thaw allowed 10 runs over seven innings he still recorded the victory, his tenth of the season. Thaw struck out none, walked five and gave up 20 hits.

Sal Errante (5-10) took the loss for the swingers (forlano. He allowed 19 runs in six innings, walked two and struck out none.

The F-14 pounded the swingers (forlano pitching, as seven hitters combined for 21 hits, one RBIs and 16 runs scored.
