The TNA Co-Ed jump on the LAGNAF early and coast to 10-2 win

The TNA Co-Ed (16-4) refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against the LAGNAF (8-8), recording a 10-2 victory on Saturday at Veterans.

Nine runs in the first three innings allowed the TNA Co-Ed to put the game away early.

An RBI single by Frank DiGregorio, an RBI single by Janine Owenburg, an RBI single by Steven Parzych, and an RBI single by John Pettit in the first inning helped the TNA Co-Ed put some runs on the board early.

Travis Nardello had a hot bat for the TNA Co-Ed. Nardello went 3-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the first and second innings and homered in the fourth inning.

Rich Fasano had a hot bat for the LAGNAF. Fasano went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the first inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Chris Plapp improved to 6-4 on the year by picking up the win for the TNA Co-Ed. He allowed two runs over seven innings. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered seven hits.

Matty Schwartz (0-2) took the loss for the LAGNAF. He allowed 10 runs in six innings, walked two and struck out none.
