Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Saturday as the TNA Co-Ed (15-4) outscored the LAGNAF (8-7) 11-10 in seven innings.
The teams totaled 32 hits in the game.
The teams traded runs for most of the contest, leading to 11 lead changes in the game.
The TNA Co-Ed pulled out the win thanks to a strong sixth inning. A groundout by Allyson Catanese and gave the TNA Co-Ed the lead for good.
Steven Parzych racked up three RBIs on two hits for the TNA Co-Ed. He homered in the third inning and doubled in the sixth inning.
Rich Fasano racked up five RBIs on two hits for the LAGNAF. He singled in the first inning and homered in the fifth inning.
Even though Chris Plapp allowed 10 runs over seven innings he still recorded the victory, his fifth of the season. Plapp struck out none, walked two and gave up 16 hits.
Matty Schwartz was charged with the loss. He allowed 11 runs in 6 2/3 innings, walked four and struck out none.
