Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Sunday as the Ball Busters (17-7) outscored the Buckleys (13-11) 10-9 in seven innings.
The teams totaled 31 hits in the game.
The Ball Busters got their bats going early, scoring five runs in the first inning to pull ahead of the Buckleys.
The teams traded runs for most of the contest, leading to five lead changes in the game.
Anthony Avelli went a perfect 4-4 at the dish for the Ball Busters. He singled in the first, third, and fifth innings and homered in the seventh inning.
Even though Avelli allowed nine runs over seven innings he still recorded the victory, his tenth of the season. He struck out none, walked five and surrendered 13 hits.
Kevin Feldman couldn't get it done on the bump for the Buckleys, taking a loss. He allowed 10 runs in six innings, walked three and struck out none.
