Rob Gerdts brought home the go-ahead run to give the LAGNAF (14-10) the lead in the sixth inning, as the LAGNAF hung on to beat the TBDs (15-7) 6-4 on Saturday.
With the LAGNAF trailing by one, Gerdts came to the plate and homered, plating Rich Fasano and Missi Greene.Gerdts racked up three RBIs on two hits for the LAGNAF. He tripled in the fourth inning and homered in the sixth inning.
Jamie Campos racked up two RBIs on two hits for the TBDs. He homered in the second inning and singled in the fourth inning.
Fasano improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the LAGNAF. He allowed four runs over seven innings. He struck out none, walked four and surrendered 11 hits.
Mike Dolly was charged with his sixth loss of the year. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked none and struck out none.
