The Ball Busters (14-6) and the F-14 (12-8) passed the lead back and forth eight times on Sunday at Tanglewood, but in the end the Ball Busters pulled out a 9-7 win in seven innings over the F-14.

Guy Losito boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 2-2 day at the plate to pace the Ball Busters. He singled in the third inning and tripled in the sixth inning.

The F-14 were led by a flawless day at the dish by Ray Sonenberg, who went 3-3 against the Ball Busters' pitching. He singled in the first and fourth innings and homered in the sixth inning.

Anthony Avelli got his eighth win for the Ball Busters despite allowing seven runs over seven innings. Avelli struck out none, walked none and gave up 20 hits.

Lenny Thaw couldn't get it done on the mound for the F-14, taking a loss. He allowed nine runs in six innings, walked four and struck out none.
