Justin Capriola hit three home runs, but it wasn't enough to carry the TJ Finleys (4-14) to a win on Thursday, as the TJ Finleys fell to the Excel Aire2 (23-1) 30-27 at :Firemens Field In Lindenhurst in seven innings.

Capriola racked up nine RBIs on five hits for the TJ Finleys. He singled in the second and fifth innings and homered in the first, third, and seventh innings.

Timmy Byrne racked up seven RBIs on four hits for the Excel Aire2. He singled in the first inning, homered in the first and second innings, and doubled in the fourth inning.

Each team blasted the other's pitching, and there were 57 total runs and 72 hits during the game.

The Excel Aire2 came out swinging, scoring 16 runs in the first inning to jump ahead of the TJ Finleys early.

Anthony Procopio got his sixteenth win for the Excel Aire2 despite allowing 27 runs over seven innings. He struck out none, walked one and surrendered 32 hits.

Dave Gastiaburo was charged with his eighth loss of the year. He lasted just zero innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed no runs.

The Excel Aire2 pounded the TJ Finleys pitching, as 11 hitters combined for 40 hits, 30 RBIs and 30 runs scored.
