The STONED SOUP top the nemesis behind Walter's 5 hits, 21-12

An awesome effort by Erik Walter led the STONED SOUP (11-6) to a 21-12 win in seven innings over the nemesis (7-10) on Sunday at :Firemens Field In Lindenhurst.

Walter racked up eight RBIs on five hits for the STONED SOUP. He singled in the fourth inning, homered in the first, second, and fifth innings, and doubled in the sixth inning.

Pete Nokola rocked the STONED SOUP with three home runs. Nokola went 3-4 in the game with four RBIs and three runs scored. Nokola homered in the first, second, and fourth innings.

The two teams combined for 33 runs and 47 hits, including zero extra base hits.

The STONED SOUP blew out the nemesis thanks to 28 hits, including zero extra base hits. The STONED SOUP scored five runs in the first on an RBI single by Dan Aliamo, a three-run home run by Walter, and a sacrifice fly by Sean Dimauro.

Even though Aliamo allowed 12 runs over 6 2/3 innings he still recorded the victory. He struck out none, walked one and surrendered 19 hits.

Bob Nipper ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his seventh loss of the year. He allowed 21 runs in six innings, walked one and struck out none.

The STONED SOUP pounded the nemesis pitching, as eight hitters combined for 25 hits, 21 RBIs and 19 runs scored.
