Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Sunday as the nemesis (7-8) outscored the Excel Aire1 (14-2) 16-11 in seven innings.
The two teams combined for 44 hits in the game.
Pete Budkevics had a busy day at the plate, collecting three extra-base hits. He homered in the first inning, singled in the fourth inning, and doubled in the third and sixth innings.
Bobby Horan racked up four RBIs on four hits for the Excel Aire1. He singled in the first, third, and fifth innings and homered in the seventh inning.
Bob Nipper recorded his fifth win for the nemesis even though he allowed 11 runs over seven innings. Nipper struck out none, walked two and gave up 21 hits.
Anthony Procoplo was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed 16 runs in seven innings, walked one and struck out none.
The nemesis hammered the Excel Aire1 pitching as six hitters had a field day, combining for 17 hits, 12 RBIs and 14 runs scored.
