Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Sunday as the CRUSH (fall (7-8) outscored the Animals AwayHitmen Fasano (9-4) 23-8 in five innings.

The two teams combined for 33 hits in the game.

Nine runs in the first three innings helped the CRUSH (fall blow out the Animals AwayHitmen Fasano. An RBI single by Adam Belding and a two-run error in the first inning and a sacrifice fly by Tom Cestaro and an RBI single by Rich Busick during the second inning helped the CRUSH (fall put some runs on the board early.

The CRUSH (fall's Matty Zurawel was perfect at the dish, going 4-4. He singled in the second and third innings, doubled in the fourth inning, and homered in the fifth inning.

The Animals AwayHitmen Fasano were led by Rich Fasano's hitting. Fasano went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He tripled in the first inning and singled in the fourth inning.

Even though Charlie Baumgartner allowed eight runs over five innings he still recorded the victory, his second of the season. He struck out none, walked one and surrendered 12 hits.

Mike Ryan ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed 23 runs in five innings, walked five and struck out none.

The CRUSH (fall hammered the Animals AwayHitmen Fasano pitching as six hitters had a field day, combining for 12 hits, 19 RBIs and 15 runs scored.
