Rob Vasquez was strong at the plate and on the rubber in carrying the F-14 (9-6) to a 5-2 victory over the No Mercy on Sunday at Raynor Park two.

It was a good day at the plate for the F-14's Vasquez. Vasquez went 2-3 and scored one run. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the third inning.

Vasquez allowed two earned runs, six hits and four walks while striking out one over seven innings of work.

Jamie Taylor was solid at the plate for the No Mercy (8-7). Taylor went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He tripled in the third inning.
