The IGA SOFTBALL (8-2) took down the Mutants 14-4 on Friday at East Islip Marina Field #1 after slamming the Mutants (2-8) with nine runs in the first inning.

Rich Glock racked up three RBIs on two hits for the IGA SOFTBALL. He tripled in the first and fourth innings.

Jake Farley racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Mutants. He homered in the first inning.

Charlie Frey got the win, running his season record to 4-0. He allowed four runs over seven innings. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered nine hits.

The IGA SOFTBALL easily handled the Mutants pitching as six hitters combined for 14 hits, 11 RBIs and 10 runs scored.

Joe Mahler took the loss for the Mutants. He allowed 14 runs in six innings, walked five and struck out one.
